Educational Outreach
AWA fosters, stimulates and promotes a healthy respect of wildlife & surrounding habitat. We believe the only true way to attain an understanding of the importance of conservation, is through education.
Through educating with our captive wild, yet tame ambassadors, they give the public an opportunity to see up close and in person what a wolf is, & what they are not.
Trauma Informed
For many who come here, survivors of trauma, youth in crisis, adults carrying invisible wounds, this refuge becomes a place where hope returns. We welcome you to get up close and personal and step into a journey of self discovery, connection, and renewal with our Wolf Ambassadors.

“Me and my wife went by on the weekend and had a fantastic time. There was no set entrance fee, she accepts donations. During our time there we were able to interact with the wolves. The experience was very educational and left us with a great feeling when you earn the wolves trust. Wonderful experience and a wonderful Lady, the knowledge Sky has on wolves in general, let’s just say these babies are in great hands. Sky not only takes you on a beautiful interaction with adult and pups but she educates on the importance of wolves, how she started and why. I have taken family members and friends to see, touch and feel first hand the love and affection these beautiful animals want and give to you and will continue to share what I’ve experienced with others. It's a amazing place. Sky is so knowledgeable and so caring and loving of the wolves. These majestic animals are absolutely amazing. There are not many facilities where you can actually interact with a wolf. This is my second time there. I have taken both my sons and grandson there. They were amazed.
