a wolf adventure:
Living Sky Wolf Outreach & Preserve Inc.
Welcome to A WOLF Adventure Outreach Preserve Inc. Where Wilderness meets The Soul and Heroes walk on four paws. We are a trauma informed non-profit refuge for the wild. I take pride in being a haven of learning, and a heartbeat of connection nestled in the pristine woods of North Central Saskatchewan, where people and wolves meet to form a connection.
WHAT DO WE OFFER?

This is more than an encounter.
It's a conversation with nature.
MEET THE
FOUNDER
Sky Phoenix brings many years of professional speaking experience to the classroom, with a passion for wildlife education.
Come meet me, Sky Phoenix, and my wild family - feel the heartbeat of the land, learn the truth about wolves, and leave with pawprints on your heart.
AWA is more than a refuge.
It’s an experience - a moment to reconnect with the land, walk beside the wild, and discover the true spirit of wolves.
Here, I walk alongside my wild family - a pack of bottle-raised ambassadors who have grown to trust, teach, and inspire many. Each visit is a step into their world, a chance to witness their grace, intelligence, and quiet power, to feel the land beneath your feet and the presence of something older than memory.
Together, we can create a world where wolves are not feared, but understood, not hunted, but heard.
“It is our hope that what
people understand,
they will want to protect.”
SKY PHOENIX
Sky Phoenix is the Founder and Director of A WOLF Adventure.
Living Sky Wolf Outreach & Preserve Inc. a Canadian non-profit dedicated to wolf education, conservation awareness, and transformative outdoor learning experiences.
With a background in Education Assistance, Zoology, and Being a Trauma-Informed Youth Care Worker, alongside hands-on experience working with wolves, Sky delivers educational outreach programs designed to challenge misconceptions and foster coexistence. She works and focuses on youth and trauma survivors of all ages, offering experiences that go beyond traditional learning. Out here, the land becomes the classroom, and the wolves become the lesson.
Her work focuses on youth engagement, experiential learning, and creating meaningful connections between people and wildlife through in-person programs and advocacy, Sky’s mission is to promote respect for wolves as vital components of healthy ecosystems while inspiring the next generation to value and protect the natural world. Her work exists at the meeting point between human and wild, where fear shifts into understanding and connection. Through her outreach programs, she brings people face-to-face with her Wolf Outreach Ambassadors, not as myths or monsters, but as teachers.
Wolves are deeply social, intelligent beings who live by communication, trust, and balance. When people experience them up close, something changes. Barriers fall, perspectives shift and a deeper respect for the natural world begins to take root.
“This isn’t just about education it’s about remembering our place in the world and the responsibility we carry within it to the natural wild lands we need to protect and all of its wild inhabitants.”
